Hello, my name is Adela Mungarro.
A person who inspired me to do something better in my life was my
daughter Candy. She always told me that it never is too late for starting a
career. She studied and worked at the same time, and when I got sick and had
open-heart surgery she also took care of me for about three months, but she
didn’t stop studying for her test. She wanted to be a nurse and she finally got
her license to be an RN.
Another person who had a big impact on me was
my aerobics instructor. She got breast cancer, but she didn’t stop. She
continued giving classes, and she didn’t give up. She combated her disease, and
I decided if she could do it, I could do the same thing. My daughter helped me to start taking
classes at Cochise College to improve my English because my dream is one day to
also be an aerobics instructor.
