Also looks at the historical era in which this famous drama was set.
Explains the sonnet form.

Discuss
the play and how it has survived the test of time to be considered one of
Shakespeare’s most famous works. You
could also incorporate into a discussion and/or writing exercise comparing the
play with the 1996 movie, which takes place in modern times but utilizes the
same poetic language used in the original work.
