Lesson Overview
This video describes the basic concepts of photosynthesis and how green plants are the foundation of energy flow in most ecosystems.  The teacher should preview the video and the teacher’s guide. Follow up activities and discussions will vary according to the student’s level.  

Lesson Activities:

Hand out the pre-test. Review the questions and answers.

Show the Video. Students may take notes. Pause at the video quiz.

Hand out the video quiz and review.

Do the Tracing Back Activity

Hand out the post test.. Grade the tests and discuss the answers, either individually or as a group.
