The "Hire Me" Guide was funded by a grant from the Minnesota Department
of Children, Families, and Learning. The course has been written
to supply learners with the appropriate training, information,
encouragement, discipline, and support for work readiness.
Target Population:
This course is for anyone who is looking for employment or is
looking to change careers. The basic reading level of this course
is 8.0.
Course Objectives:
When a learner completes this course, they will be able to:
Identify the changes that are in or out of their control in everyday
life.
Set an employment-related goal.
Describe the job-related skills they have.
Write their own resume to use in their job search.
Identify the dos and don'ts of what to wear for a job interview.
Answer interview questions with confidence.
